Welcome to the Department of Education. It was founded in 1958. The Department has three faculty members at present. Both B.A. Pass and Honours Courses are offered under Manipur University. The papers taught are Philosophical & Sociological Foundation of Education (First Semester), Educational Psychology & Pedagogy (Second Semester), Development of Education in India (Third Semester), Issues & Trends in Contemporary Indian Education (Fourth Semester), Fifth Semester ( three papers)- Educational Evaluation & Statistics in Education, Educational Management & Educational Technology and Educational Guidance & Curriculum Constructions and Sixth Semester (three papers)- Educational Thought & Practice, Child Psychology and Experimental Education & Statistics Or Project Work .
