Welcome to the Department of Geography. It was founded in 1958. The Department has seven faculty members at present. Both B.A./B.Sc. Pass and Honours Courses are offered under Manipur University. The papers taught are Introduction to Geography (1st Semester), Physical Geography (Second Semester), Human Geography & Cartography I (Third Semester), Population and Settlement Geography & Cartography II (Fourth Semester), Fifth Semester (three papers)-Geomorphology, Geography of India & Cartography III and Sixth Semester (three papers) – Economic Geography, World Regional Geography & Cartography IV.
